The purpose of this design-build project was to repair the pathway trail and riverbank at multiple locations along the Boise River. The green belt park trail and riverbank(s) were severely eroded and damaged in the high flow/flood event of Spring 2017, where flows on the Boise River exceeded 9,000 CFS. This project consisted of seven segments that required redistribution and addition of rip rap/rock revetment, biological enhancements for streambank stabilization, and enhancement of natural tread pathways and paved walkways. Design Engineer: Ms. Jeanne McFall, Principal Engineer with RIVHAB.
