The Silver Creek Bridge Installation Project is to install an IDFG/Owner supplied bridge across Silver Creek at the Silver Creek West Campground to increase sport/fly fishing (trout) access to this watershed while minimizing habitat degradation. This project included extensive dewatering on both sides of Silver Creek for a period of two continuous weeks. The bridge abutments were designed to accommodate the 100-Year Flood event. The 70-foot single lane pedestrian bridge is a steel truss – K frame with a wooden deck. The bridge was placed in one single lift (bridge weight 11,400 pounds). The project was completed on an accelerated schedule before the winter season started.
