Tags: Heavy Civil Earthwork

Client: U.S. Customs & Border Protection
Location: Bonners Ferry, Idaho

The Bonners Ferry station was constructed in 2011 in an area with surface drainage issues.
For this heavy civil earthwork project, TDX completed demolition and site grading of existing conditions prior to placement of storm drains, French drains, down spout drains, and inlets. Over 4,000 tons of soil and asphalt were removed from the site. Over 12,000 SY of geotextile were placed on this site to inhibit any subsurface damage. Down spouts from the horse barns, shops and admin building were piped and routed to the French Drains. New pavement included over 2,200 SY were placed.
