Dammerman & Stowers Rehabilitation
.
Client: Idaho Dept. of Fish & Game
Location: Bovill, Idaho
The objectives of this in-stream work & restoration project are creation of in-stream aquatic spawning or rearing habitat and installation of log wood structures designed to function as gravel recruitment, channel roughness and complexity, and/or provide thermal and spatial refugia for ESA-listed fish species. Over 1,000 feet of the Dammerman Reach was completed under this project. This project was designed by the IDFG, RIVHAB, and funded through the Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Fund (PCSRF) by NMFS and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). In 2020, TDX completed the Stowers Reach Restoration, which was an extension of our 2019 work on Dammerman.
